Economic Empowerment Initiative Program Manager | Latino Community Fund

Responsible for managing programs under LCF’s Economic Empowerment Initiative, as well as the Hispanic Seafair Scholarship Program. Through Economic Empowerment, we will leverage our business leadership skills and consulting expertise to help solve problems in the communities in which we work and live by addressing challenges small business owners face today.


In partnership partnership with the Seattle Office of Labor Standards, I support small businesses and businesses owned by low-income individuals and historically disenfranchised communities. I provide outreach, education and technical assistance to Seattle’s small businesses about their responsibilities under Seattle’s Minimum Wage, Wage Theft, Paid Sick and Safe Time, Fair Chance Employment and Secure Scheduling Ordinances. In addition, through the Fair Work Center Collaborative, I conduct Know Your Rights outreach and education for workers.


Manage one of LCF’s fiscally sponsored organizations. Hispanic Seafair is a volunteer run organization which started in 1980 with the intention to unite the Hispanic community and empower young Latinas to become leaders through education, community service and scholarship.

• Implement the Sales & Marketing Strategic Plan for the company, with modifications as indicated by the Creative Director.
• Content management for company website and client sites (All via WordPress).
• Curate original and engaging content to share on company’s blog.
• Create, curate, and manage content across all social media channels.
• Daily monitoring of Google Analytics and Google Webmaster tools.
• Help to establish company voice and grow followings, especially on smaller channels.
• Create and monitor Facebook ad campaigns to drive traffic to our website.
• Use data analysis to create, test, and modify our social media strategy.
• Provide SEO analysis and recommendations.
• Stay up to date on new social media tools and strategies to implement in our campaigns.
• Research interesting and relevant content for our target audience.
• Perform keyword research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
• Understanding of basic HTML and code structure as it relates to SEO required.
